Overview

The goal of the project was to design a premium mobile commerce experience that reflects Nike’s bold visual language and cultural presence while improving navigation clarity, product discovery, and user engagement.

The design combines minimal monochrome UI foundations with expressive graphic compositions inspired by motion, sport, geometry, and digital environments. Every screen was designed to feel editorial, immersive, and unmistakably Nike.

Design Objectives

  • Create a scalable visual system balancing branding and usability
  • Improve discoverability across categories, trends, and collections
  • Build a seamless shopping flow from onboarding to checkout
  • Introduce immersive visual storytelling without sacrificing performance or clarity
  • Reimagine the Nike shopping experience for a younger, digitally native audience

Visual Direction

The visual language is built around high-contrast black-and-white compositions combined with geometric illustrations, floating graphic elements, and spatial layouts inspired by futuristic retail environments.

The interface intentionally contrasts minimal UI components with expressive surrounding visuals to create a stronger emotional connection with the product ecosystem.

Product pages prioritize imagery, material details, color selection, and quick purchase actions while maintaining visual clarity.

Wishlist & Personalization

Wishlist flows and saved products were designed to support long-term engagement and return visits.

Checkout Experience

The checkout flow was optimized to reduce cognitive load through modular information blocks, simplified payment handling, and clean hierarchy.

Result

The final design demonstrates how a sportswear commerce platform can feel both functional and emotionally engaging. The project balances conversion-oriented UX principles with a strong visual identity, resulting in an experience that feels premium, modern, and culturally relevant.

The redesign positions Nike not only as an online store, but as a digital lifestyle platform built around movement, fashion, and community.
